Sourdough Discard Chocolate Cake

Refreshing sourdough always produces food waste. To not have to throw this away, I have developed a recipe for you.

Ingredients

Flour 220g
Sourdough discards 220g
Milk 200g
Sugar 280g
Butter 200g
Cocoa powder 70g
Eggs 2
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Baking powder 1 teaspoon

Instructions

Mix all ingredients with a food processor for about 2 minutes. Pour into a greased baking pan (28cm).

Put in preheated oven at 180° for eta 45-60 minutes. Check with a wooden skewer every 5 minutes from 45 minutes if dough is still sticking. If not, the cake is ready.
